The Aircraft
Purple Aviation operates a fleet of six microlight aircraft flying over 1200 hours a year around the Northumberland countryside. Our modern fleet is one of the largest in the UK operating from Eshott Airfield just off the A1 near Morpeth.

The Airfield
Purple Aviation is fortunate to operate from Eshott Airfield, Northumbria's Regional Airport. Flying from Eshott started in November 1942 when the airfield was developed by the Royal Air Force into a training facility for the Spitfire.
